This is a picture of Alexander from 2003. A few days ago I posted a picture of him before he had his cleft palate repaired, but two years after his bilateral cleft lip was repaired. He had to have the lip repaired before the Interplast team could work on his palate. It is truly amazing to look at this picture and think that this child is the same person as the happy, mischievious kid featured in my "Alexander" posting.
